Getting Started
1. Install the plugin
Download the plugin zip file from your ProfileSwitch account. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the zip file, and click Install Now. Then click Activate.
2. Enter your license key
After activation, go to ProfileSwitch → General and enter your license key. This enables automatic updates.
You can find your license key in your ProfileSwitch account.
3. Create the profile switcher page
Under ProfileSwitch → General, use the Profile Switcher Page dropdown. Select an existing page or choose “Auto-create page” and save. This creates a page with the [profileswitch] shortcode already added.
The profile switcher page uses a full-screen template — no header, footer, or sidebar. Users see their profiles with avatars and can switch, create, or edit profiles from this page.
4. You’re done
That’s it. Your users can now visit the profile switcher page, create new profiles, and switch between them. Each profile is a real WordPress user with its own data, progress, and identity.
A “Switch Profile” link appears in the admin bar so users can get back to the switcher from anywhere on your site.
